When is The Matrix Trilogy coming to Blu-Ray disc? Have there been any announcements?

I don't know what that other guy is talking about. So far there has been no announce about the Matrix coming to Blu-ray, but I am sure it will since after May, Warner Bros will no longer support HD DVD. I do know that it will be release because if you go to amazon.com they already have the picture up for Blu-Ray (I guess reserving the spot). You can go to the link below to amazon and you can sign up to get a message once they DO decide they are releasing it on Blu-ray.

In fact his link will lead you to an article that was written in March 22 2007. A year ago, because clearly the Matrix has been out on HD DVD and its under $50 for the ultimate collection. If you take a look at his links (which I did), they are dated 2007. 2007 is in the title. I have the movie on HD DVD and you can actually buy the HD DVD, right now, today at Best Buy, Walmart, or any place that HD DVD are sold. If you were to click on my Second Link, it will take you to amazon.com where you can see the price for yourself. Originally it was 119 dollars but that price was unreasonable.

So link one is to get on the mailing list for when the DVD will be release on blu-ray (answering your question)

And link two (which you already know this), is the link to amazon.com on HD DVD.When is The Matrix Trilogy coming to Blu-Ray disc? Have there been any announcements?
Warner announced the release of the Matrix Trilogy. Unfortunately, no date has been announced for the Blu-ray versions. HD DVD fans will be able to buy the trilogy on May 22. Hopefully a date will be announced in the near future. I鈥檓 sure there is a lot of PS3 fans that are craving for the Matrix on Blu-ray format!

The Ultimate Matrix Collection ($119) and The Complete Matrix Trilogy ($99) will be on 8 discs and include 35 hours of bonus features and HD DVD's In-Movie Experience (IME).

The guy (below) is going nuts. The following link is another source to a different website that also lists that the blue ray and HD DVD are announced, with no official release for the Blue ray. Warner Brother DOES back up HDDVD, if you don't believe this, click on the THIRD link which will bring you to the official Matrix Trilogy webpage. On the front page, you will see the HDDVD box set! And a website to pre-order.
