What is the best trilogy of all time?

Movies or books, and why and who made them? What is the best trilogy of all time?
it is the amazing trilogy of the wonderful writer J.R.R.Tolkien

The Lord Of The Rings

it is a amazing indescribable

and the movie was awesome too

it is not just a scientific movie or novel as it has a deeper meaning than elves and goblins and rings as Tolkien was affected by the world was the first and the second that's why he wrote it as he was not happy with the war and the separation at the time among the nations and the domination of evil so this was his main idea in that wonderful trilogy

The Riftwar Saga (Magician, Silverthorn, Darkness at Sethanon) by Raymond Feist.

High fantasy genre, absolutely awesome storytelling! great characters and well-written. Once you start reading, you can't put it down. Right up there with Tolkien. Actually, I think he's better than Tolkien!!!!
The Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov.

There were more added to the series, too, but I've read and reread the original several times.
THE F陌RST TR陌LOGY OF STAR WARS, OF GEORGE LUCAS

Girlyman u should know better
Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast trilogy
Well, I hesitate to say Lord of the RIngs, since originally, it was not a trilogy... the publisher insisted on breaking it into a trilogy, because it was sooo long.

Ok, that said, Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R.Tolkien is the best trilogy of all time. Books, that is.

Lord of the Rings - J.R.R Tolkien

The books, not the movies.
The Lord of the Rings. The books and then the movies. Even though it is not technically a trilogy. The three parts of the story make one incredible story.
