I had a Xbox but transfered to a Xbox 360, but when i inserted the grand theft auto games i noticed i could no longer play my custom soundtracks from the Xbox 360's hard drive... is there some way i can still listen to the music without going back to a regular Xbox or am i doomed to play the games like i did on playstation 2 without my own music?Grand Theft Auto Trilogy question?
You are doomed.
Unfortunately, Original Xbox games do not support 360 dashboard features, and custom soundtracks are a dashboard feature.
For me, the complete lack of dashboard features has made playing original Xbox games a very unappealing proposition.
But, that's the way it is.Grand Theft Auto Trilogy question?
From the xbox you could play music from your hd and still play the game Like i use to do to but on 360 the backwords compat doesn't allow this, BUT you can do what i do.
Plug in your ipod/ cd (not sure if cds work) and play the music before you enter the disk and hopefully you can still listen to music while your playing Gta,
Good luck
I hate to say it but i think that your going to have to go without your music. Since it's an x-box game i guess it only recognizes music on the system it's meant for. Have no fear though, gta IV is coming out hopefully this year some time
