The release of the New Clone Wars CGI movie do you think that they will remake the original trilogy using the same technology in affect modernizing it and not having to change characters, already synonymous with their associated personas.Do you think with the release of the CGI Star Wars Clone Wars will lead to remakes of the original trilogy?
What should be done is Beowulf quality CGI using the original trilogy characters portraying either the Thrawn trilogy, Shadows of the Empire, or the events of the YV War.

Sweet Lord, I hope not. The film is ment as a launch for a new CGI / anime Clone Wars television series - but the plot has the Jedi rescuing Jabba's son?! Why would the Jedi even bother?


The Clone Wars have already been covered in animation, novels, books and games - what's left to tell that won't seem like a re-hash?





Lucasfilm also had (has?) plans for a live-action series taking place between episodes III and IV - which would cover the rise of the Empire and the Rebel opposition. Guess I'd rather see them spend money on that. But once again, how do you keep it fresh?
no, the old trilogy is 100 times better, if they remake anything, it should be trilogy I, II, and III. You cant beat harisson ford with han solo.

Please god nooo! I hope they don't.. why mess with a perfect thing. I hope lucas focus on doing a movie dealing with the star wars extended universe, meaning what happens after return of the jedi.
