Chapter 6: Into the Death Star














The final level. The final battle鈥?br>




鈥t's the final countdown! Similar to the end level from Episode IV, the final level will have you piloting the Millennium Falcon into the heart of the Death Star. But first you have to take care of four Star Destroyers. Fire your torpedoes at the shield generator round towers, located on top of the bridge.














Flying through the Deathstar is risky and dangerous business. Keep your finger down on the fire button to remove any obstacles in the shaft that may damage you. To destroy the three turrets, grab and use the torpedoes from the torpedo dispenser. Now you鈥檒l come up to a shield barrier: fire one torpedo at each of the four generators to bring down the shield down. Grab as many torpedoes as you can at the second torpedo dispenser before heading into the white tunnel section. And don't forget to destroy the missile launchers on either side of the barrier wall.














Inside the main reactor room, it鈥檚 time to take out the Death Star. First, there are panels on the sides of the room, which will open every few seconds to send out a static charge, disabling your ship for a few seconds. Don't fly by them when they do that, of course. But, when they are open, they are vulnerable to attack, so fire a few shots into the exposed section on each of the panels to bring down the shields of the main reactor.











Next, fire at the exposed blue inner core of the reactor, though it may take a few shots to get the timing right. Once you reveal the heart of the reactor, fire just one torpedo to send the Death Star up in flames鈥?














鈥peaking of flames fly out of there as fast as you can, holding down the fire button, and shooting any obstacles that gets in your way. You can do it! The Force is strong in you!




















Minikit Locations





1. Located above the Star Destroyer on the far right, closest to the screen.





2. Early on inside of the Death Star, destroy left side of wall to reveal Minikit.





3. Located in the first juncture inside the Death Star after you take out the three turrets, it pops up right in the middle for you.





4. Inside the first TIE-Fighter only room on the right side, of the first shield barrier.





5. Near the second torpedo dispenser, fly into small crevice by the red stripes.





6. In second TIE-Fighter only area, on the left side of the white tunnel.





7. Located near the screen when destroying the main reactor.





8 - 10. While shooting your way free from the Death Star Explosion.














Score x30 Power Brick Location:





Inside the main room where you will destroy the main reactor, there is a torpedo firing area. Fire off two torpedoes to destroy this wall and grab the Power Brick.
