Hi, ive got the bourne trilogy on dvd and i want to get it on my iPod, but don't know how.?

Do all of them, none of them or some of them? None of them bother me except for (of course) Greedo shooting at Han in ';A New Hope';! I think all of the other changes are greatly enhanced for the better. What do you think?Star Wars fans, which changes in the original trilogy bother you?
I do agree with you that the Greedo/Han scene was changed for the worse, but i did not find that the most annoying.





Also the scene with changing the force ghost to the figure of hayden Christenson, I think was a nice touch, rather than an annoying change. While yes I would have been upset if Alec Guinness was replaced with Ewan McGregor(although Ewan McGregor was an excellent choice for a young Obi-Wan), it's hardly the same thing at all. Alec Guinness had appeared in all three films in some form (whether in life, or as a force ghost) and so we know exactly how Obi-Wan looked as he aged and Alec Guinness has a legitimate presence in that spot. However the last time Anakin looked anything resembling human, was how he looked in Episode III before his body was destroyed by the fires of Mustafar. --wow apparently I rant as well, lol





Anyways the most annoying added scene was the abysmal addition to Return of the Jedi in Jabba's Palace when for some reason they added a musical scene, with jabba's singer's and dancers. I am more than a little angry that now when i want to watch MY FAVORITE movie of the entire star wars franchise on dvd, I am forced to suffer through this scene. Obviously, I'm hugely in agreement that Greedo shooting first is a major joke that totally ruins one of the best introductions to any character in the history of film.





Sorry - I rant. To answer your question: some of the alien characters in the Cantina scene were altered and/or removed. That really peeved me.





Also - and I meant to answer your previous question about this, at least I think it was you - I do not at all like that young Anakin (Hayden) replaces old Anakin in the final scene of ROTJ. The fans would have gone NUTS if Alec Guiness had been replaced by Ewan McGregor. I think I remember this being done only when the Special Editions were released on DVD - even before Episode II premiered. It was officially the first time Hayden portrayed Anakin Skywalker - in a DVD easter egg. That should have told us something. Now that is all we see when ROTJ is on TV... or should I say SpikeTV. Lame - there's another complaint. Remember when the Trilogy was a holiday staple on the major cable stations?

I found them to be a great trilogy of life in Cairo at that time.It was these novels by Naguib Mahfouz that made me realise that Egypt did in fact have some great contemporary authors.


I have since read almost all of his books and even went and had a coffee in the coffee house near the American University where he was shot.


I actually call our house in Luxor, Palace of Desire on Sugar Street lol!

it was a very accurate representation of the Egyptian society at the time. the characters are very alive and the topics tackled are so immersed in the Egyptian society. the fact that it's very local is what actually makes it that important.

Farid was my favourite character and i was completely shocked at the end...she didn't even know Doria that well and i didn't like him anyway. i think Farid deserved her a lot more then Doria did. so it spoiled the book for me in a way, after the good ending, i just felt completely let down!For those who have read the Inkheart Trilogy.....?

I think Farid became too much of a ladies man and got what he deserved which was to be lonely. He really turned into a Turd. I was a little disappointed by Inkspell and Inkdeath. I thought that Mo had changed too much. But they all were good books. I can't wait to see the movie.

What is it about? Is it narrorated by someone in the book? I never really got an idea of what it is about.The uglies trilogy?
Tally is basically the narrorator. I think it's in third person. I mean, it doesn't go ';I, Tally, did__________';, it goes ';Tally hopped on her hoverboard, crash bracelets on...';


Basically, it's about this ';Ugly'; (I can't explain, you'll see in the books. It'll take too long to write) named Tally Youngblood. When you turn 16 in her world, you get this operation that makes you very beautiful. But she has a problem; her friend, Shay, ran away from the operation. Special Circumstances (a type of police/agency) tell her to betray her and bring her back, or never become pretty. She's always wanted to become a pretty, but can she betray her friend? Dun dun dun...(sorry, the last part's pretty dramatic on my part.)

Tally is the narrator. She is the main character. I don't remember if it's told in first or third person. But the book is from her point of view or perspective.
its about this future society. there are 2 parts to the community, the uglies and the pretties. the ulgies live in one place, waiting to grow up. when they do they have major plastic surgury that makes them pratically perfect. this society is what is left after the fall of man and so they are tightly controlled. tally gos off and finds people who have rebelled against the people controling society by living out in the old destroyed land. its mstly about their adventures and how they try to stop them.
